Kirksville Schools are proud to announce two familiar Kirksville faces to coaching positions for the fall 2024 season! Retiring Truman State University head football coach, Gregg Nesbitt, has been named our new head football coach at KHS. Coach Nesbitt has an impressive record of experience in high school and college football. He brings with him an abundance of knowledge. His coaching career spans 44 years, including state high school championships, and the last 14 seasons at TSU. Kirksville High School alumna and Clinton, MO head coach, Sydney Snyder, has been named the new head softball coach for KHS. Coach Snyder is currently head softball coach and PE teacher at Clinton High School. She graduated from KHS in 2015; she went on to play softball at John Wood Community College before finishing her degree at Truman State. We are proud to have both coaches switching to orange and black this fall. #kvtigers #kvproud #welovekirksville

Roar of Applause Brad Hudson KHS and WMMS Band Teacher A coworker shared: Brad spends countless hours working with students before, during, and after school. Our marching band performs at all of our home football games. The jazz band entertains during the breaks of our home basketball games. Students participate and compete in regional and state band every year. They perform at many other band festivals and parades. Brad co-hosts our Celebrity Dinner music fundraiser every year. Our school is blessed to have an amazing band and that comes from having amazing band teachers!
