The new parking lot west of the middle school and high school will open soon! Once open, construction will begin on the new performing arts building in the current parking lot between the two schools.
Fencing is being installed around the construction area, shown in red in the included photo. This area includes the entire lot and driveway north of the middle school and south of the high school.
What to expect:
🐅The main driveway in front of both schools will stay open.
🐅Bus traffic will run as usual.
🐅Staff and visitor parking will be available in the new front lot and the existing back lot behind the middle school.
🐅The driveway north of the middle school will be closed.
🐅The ECLC bus loop plus dropoff and pickup will run normally.
🐅Parking between ECLC, WMMS, and Kirksville Primary will remain open via Hamilton Street.
🐅Sidewalks and the north doors of the middle school will remain open.
🐅The sidewalk between the high school and middle school entrances will remain open.
🐅Parent drop-off and pick-up for middle school students will change. We’ll share updated procedures before the transition.
🐅We will inform parents, staff, and the community before this area is officially closed.
