The Kirksville High School girls' golf team wrapped up a successful 2024 season with much to celebrate. This year’s team included seven returning players and four rookies. The team took first place at five of their twelve matches, including a first place finish at the North Central Missouri Conference Championship. Five of the girls earned All-Conference rankings: Payton Schempp (11th), Sophia Maag (6th), Lena Walston and Macy Nunan (tied for 3rd), and Addy Davis (1st). Davis also made All-District with a 2nd place ranking, and All-State with a 5th place ranking.
In addition to their on-course achievements, three Lady Tigers were recognized for their academic excellence, earning Academic All-State honors: Lena Walston, Macy Nunan, and Addy Davis. To qualify, athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior. They must carry a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, or earn a minimum score of 25 on the ACT or 1200 on the SAT.
