Scholar Bowl Team information

October is National Principals Month and we are taking time to appreciate all of our building principals and assistant principals here at Kirksville R-III. Today we spotlight Dr. Brandi VanDelft at WMMS!
When asked if she ever had to go to the principal's office while she was a student, Dr. VanDelft said this, "I was caught in the middle of passing a letter from a friend to another friend during class. We didn't have cell phones back then so letters folded the "cool" way was the best option. Each of us had to write an essay about the Nile River before being allowed to attend the fall dance. It was an excellent essay and we danced to some of the best songs from 2000. I learned not to pass notes again!"
It sounds like her version of the Roman Empire trend on TikTok is probably the Nile. Do you ever think about the Nile River, Dr. VanDelft? Thank you for everything you do as an educational leader for our students, staff, and community! #kvproud #kvtigers #welovekirksville

This "Roar of Applause" goes to Trista Hale! She is the family and consumer science teacher at WMMS. Thank you Mrs. Hale for taking on larger class sizes and still being so dedicated to every student! Join us in congratulating Trista for this "Roar of Applause" 🎉🐅 #kvtigers #kvproud #welovekirksville

WMMS Homecoming Spirit Days!

The Middle School Cross Country team had another great meet on Wednesday, September 20.
They traveled to Ashland, MO for the annual Eagle Run. This year's course was 2.0 miles, and many runners set their PR (Personal Record) for a 2 mile race.
The team also won the Team Sportsmanship Award.
Congratulations, Team! Go Tigers!

Help still being sought! The lack of enough bus drivers is still heavily impacting our partner company EccoRide's ability to deliver timely transportation for our students. This graphic outlines the process of becoming a paid driver.
