Kirksville R-III Schools are canceled for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Because of the brutal cold, drifting snow in our rural areas, and HVAC issues on campus we believe this is the best decision for our students and staff. Thank you and please stay safe!
It will be a cold school week, remember to dress warmly! As always, we will monitor weather and road conditions for keeping our students and staff safe. There may be days this week where a late start is helpful for safer travel conditions. Remember: No school Monday 1/15/24.

Happy Monday and welcome to winter weather '24! We want to let everyone know that we make weather decisions, most importantly, to keep our students and staff safe. Secondly, we try hard to make them in a timely manner for everyone to make plans.
Kirksville Schools want to stand with other schools across our nation and send our condolences for the events that happened in Perry, Iowa yesterday. We want to remind our own community that we continue to prepare for worst case scenarios within our district through active shooter training for all buildings.
