A group of Mrs. Martin's RAP students recently attended the "Expanding Your Horizons" conference for 7th/8th grade girls at Missouri S & T. The students heard from women in the field and participated in hands-on activities and workshops that demonstrated the range of STEM fields offered at Missouri S & T.

Students in Mrs. Chapman's class are learning to write thorough, publishable answers to questions by restating the question, answering all parts of the question, proving their answers with evidence, and proofreading. As they travel through the book, the students will continue on the path down the graffiti wall.
