American Education Week, also referred to as National Education Week, has been officially celebrated since 1921. It is a week to honor public education in our country, states, and communities. It is typically designated as the week before Thanksgiving, and is used to celebrate all of the people and programs involved in public education.
We are proud of the educational system that we call the Kirksville R-III School District--this week and every week! #kvtigers #kvproud #welovekirksville

We all know that driving a school bus is a tough job. We also know that we need more drivers in our district, surrounding districts, state, and country. However, do we take enough time to thank the hardworking drivers and monitors that we do have?
Parents, students, teachers, staff, and community members...we need your help! We want to hear the positive stories and thankful comments. Please take a few moments to anonymously complete the form at this link: https://forms.gle/A36eSyyshmKCgGp76
Share this post, tag others, and fill out the form with positives; but kindly keep the negative comments off of this post as we celebrate our bus staff. Have a great weekend, Tigers! #welovekirksville #kvproud #kvtigers

Bus evacuation drills for the semester will be completed on school grounds Tuesday, October 31, 2023. During on campus, morning drop-offs, all bus riders will learn safe evacuation procedures from their drivers, then practice exiting the bus quickly, quietly, and safely. Various teachers and staff will be on hand to assist drivers and monitor students during the process.
Bus evacuation drills are required by the State of Missouri to ensure that students are aware of what to do in an emergency situation.

Picture Packages are coming home today- be sure to check your child’s backpack! If you haven't ordered, it's not too late. We're sending home slips printed with your child's picture and Order Code, so you can still order online.
