Ecco Ride, the new transportation provider for the Kirksville R-III schools is excited to partner with the school district as well as you, the community, in providing safe transportation to and from school for our students. Our drivers have a passion for students, and are excited to see them on the first day.
School is just a few weeks away! The District is actively seeking to hire two special education teachers, one at the elementary and one at the secondary level. We encourage retired teachers to apply as well as others with a college degree seeking to expand their influence.

Get a free physical for sports today between 3:30 and 7:30. Have your PRIVIT account updated before you come. Physicals will be given at main office of the High School.

We will be offering free sports physicals tonight at the high school from 3;30-7:30. Enter and exit through the main office. PRIVIT must be completed ahead of time.Print the MSHSAA Medical Eligibility Form and fill it out and send it with your athlete. Call Diana at 660-665-4631 if you need help with this.
Correction: There will be a meeting tonight for those interested in running cross country next fall. The meeting will be in Mrs. Eitel's room 112 at 5:00. This is a meeting for athletes. Parents need not attend.
Free Sports Physical will be given on Monday, May 22 from 3:30-7:30 at the High School. Please create/update your PRIVIT account and print out the history form and bring it with you to the physical.

Thursday, April 27 was the first day of the MSHSAA State Solo and Ensemble Festival. Students that receive a Gold Rating (1) on their solo or ensemble at the district level are eligible to attend the state festival. We took 42 band and choir students to the University of MIssouri Campus to perform yesterday.
Please congratulate the students on their accomplishments. Solos and ensembles are not worked on in class! This is extra and not required for any student. We are so proud of all of our students that are making music!!
The track meet at Clark County has been cancelled for today.
Due to the likelihood of severe storms developing in our area around 3:00 pm this afternoon, we are announcing a two hour early release for all Kirksville R-III schools. Students will be released beginning at 1:00 pm this afternoon.
