Kirksville R-III families,
As we enter the winter sports season, we know our students want to cheer on our Tigers. The expectation is that students who attend the games will do just that, cheer on the Tigers. Attendance for Home Games for students K-6th grade requires parents or guardians to be present during the games. Students who do not have parents or guardians present will be asked to call home to be picked up. All students who attend sporting events will be expected to promote and show Tiger Pride and good sportsmanship.
The Kirksville R-III is committed to school and student safety at all times, therefore students will be required to sit with parents to help cheer on the Kirksville Tigers. This change prevents students from roaming in or around the commons or the hallways during basketball games and other sporting events. Students will be required to either sit with a parent or guardian or in the "Tiger Cub House." The "Tiger Cub House" is a section designed for younger students (grades 3-6) and is a new program that requires an adult to sign-up their student prior to the game. For more information on the "Tiger Cub House" please see the attached document.
