INSTRUCTOR BIO
Vince McQueen began his career in construction when he took building trades at Putnam County High School in Unionville, MO.  After completing two years, he was able to obtain employment working for Martin's Construction in Kirksville until 1981.  The economy caused a downturn in the construction business in the early 80's and Mr. McQueen went to work at the shoe factory in town while continuing to work evening and weekends on building a construction business.  He continued working at the shoe factory until he become employed with Larry Hayes Construction and stayed on with him for nine years.  In 2009, Mr. McQueen was hired as the Construction Trades program instructor at the KATC, but continues to carry on with many of his own side construction/woodworking jobs.
